Back at the Office

Well, I am back at the office in Jacksonville and am struggling to make sense out of my thoughts during and after my ride.  One thing is certain.  I am a very lucky guy.

I want to thank all of you that supported me, both financially and otherwise, during the ride.  From the send-off by the Go-Gos at Epping Forest, to the reception by the "Spark-ettes", and everyone else, in Wilmington, to the folks that greeted me at the airport in Jacksonville, I want all of you to know how appreciative I am.

My very deepest thanks

Looking forward to hearing what you have to say after you sort through all those thoughts. I'm sure we can and will learn a lot from hearing them.

Congratulations again on a great job.

This was an amazing trip, Steve, and I am so happy for you and the Foundation. Of course, this trip was for a great cause and for a debt none of us could ever repay. But it is also about you and where you are standing, right now, with the wind at your back and the sun on your face. I hope you have exorcised some demons, and/or found space for new possibilities inside. They say that people run marathons for the revelations that occur between twenty and twenty six miles. Sounds like your last couple of days provided times like that. It is a way to feed yourself and stay inspired. Congratulations and enjoy that period of grace that goes along with such a great accomplishment! Stay inspired - you've really inspired me and many others.
